Since "A Canterlot Wedding" is one of my favorite episodes, I imagine it would be tough to write a direct sequel. Katie Cook does her level best in Volume 1 of the IDW comic book series. Unlike the other volume I reviewed, this comic book has one story divided into four parts. The story is titled "The Return of Queen Chrysalis." Whoa, give the whole story away, why don't you.
